Horse and Rider Training in Humboldt County

Mertz Training Stables specializes in training horses and riders in hunters, equitation and jumpers. The training stables are located in Northern California just south of Eureka. Mary Mertz's methods are patient and tailored to the individual, always keeping safety in mind. Mary is a Resistance Free™ Certified Instructor/Trainer by Richard Shrake.

Students of all levels are welcome, and some lesson horses are available.
