Horse and Rider Training in Tehama County

Mertz Training Stables is a private 40 acre facility located in Northern California’s oak studded hills of Red Bluff. Although we specialize in hunters, equitation and jumpers, Mary has vast knowledge in western, general ground work and horsemanship to compliment her teaching. Her methods of training are taught with positive manner at a pace that keeps the rider and horse comfortable and confident.

All levels of riders are welcome, some lesson horses are available.
